The Night Maya Saved Christmas — a book made from one photo
Character sheet drawn from the photo
Drawn from one photo, then used on all 24 pages

Pages from three real books: Maya (5), Leo (3) and Aarav (4). Nothing here is a mock-up.

From a photo on your phone to a book in their hands.

  1. 1

    Upload one photo

A clear shot of their face. We write a short description of what they look like, then delete the photo. It never goes into an image generator.

  2. 2

Pick the story and the details

Christmas, birthday or bedtime. First name, age, two favourite things, and who the book is from.

  3. 3

    See the preview, then order

In about two minutes you get the character sheet and three finished pages. If you love it, we paint the other 21 and send the book to print within the hour.

Three stories, written to be read aloud.

Each one is 24 pages long, for children aged two to six. The child's name, age and favourite things are woven into the text and the pictures.

The same child on page 1 and on page 24.

Most AI storybooks redraw the child from scratch on each page, so the face drifts. We draw a character sheet first (front, side, two expressions) and paint every illustration from it. Same curls, same glasses, same yellow coat, whatever the scene.

It is an illustration of your child, not a photo pasted into a drawing. That is exactly why it looks like a book from a bookshop.

Questions parents ask

Will it really look like my child?+

It looks like a storybook version of them: skin tone, hair colour and texture, eye colour, glasses, freckles. It is an illustration, not a photo filter, so it has the charm of a real picture book rather than an uncanny likeness.

What happens to the photo?+

A vision model writes a short description of visible features (hair, eyes, glasses). The photo is then deleted from our servers, usually within two minutes. It is never sent to the image generator and never used for training.

How long does it take?+

Preview: about two minutes. Full book: about ten minutes after payment. Printing and shipping: five to seven business days in the US and UK. Order by December 12 for Christmas.

What if a page doesn't look right?+

Reply to your confirmation email within 24 hours and we redraw the page before it prints. If the printed book arrives damaged, we reprint it free.

Can I add a sibling or a pet?+

Not yet. One hero per book is what keeps every page consistent. Each child gets their own book, and their own story.

Which ages is it for?+

The stories are written for ages two to six and are meant to be read aloud. Older children love seeing themselves on the cover too.
